Inga NatayaShe was born far away from United States in a former Soviet Union Central Asian country. When a teen, she moved to United States where she won the fame and popularity and finally could realize all her talents.

Her name is Inga Nataya and all alternative and vintage inspired brides in US, Canada and UK definitely know this name.

Her story reminds a story of the Cinderella (many stories of successive art individuals remind Cinderella’s scenario). The teen, Inga got involved in opera and ballet and her hobbies revealed her main talent – the drawing. Inga Nataya was designing models and styles for opera and ballet theaters and thus, she completely made up her mind being a unique designer of her own romantic line.

The fortune smiled at her and she hand by hand with her father Mark Bogomolny founded Victorian Brand, now known as Nataya Inc.

The unique styles of Nataya dresses have gained the extra popularity among alternative, gothic, vintage, retro and indie brides. Most brides who got tired of usual princess style dresses finally found the Victorian inspired dresses by Nataya the new “most wanted” line for the wedding apparel.

When describing Nataya style any fan of the brand will definitely recollect the Titanic era wedding and evening gowns. The mentioned brand has been one of the best selling lines for more than 5 years by now.

Even Anne Hathaway shined in the dresses by Inga Nataya.

But the fans of the brand will also recollect her name not only as a famous Hollywood retro designer but as the designer who composed the great deal of reproduction outfits in flapper, la belle époque, art-deco, art nouveau, Victorian, Edwardian and, surely, oriental-eclectic boho styles. In other words, she is the creative designer for the ladies who are admiring at lost romance of the early 1900’s- 1940’s.

The hopeless romantics and vintage inspired brides are sharing their wedding photos in Nataya dresses. But that is not all. Probably most faithful customers are plus size brides. The unique combination of retro and modern elements in the common apparel makes even the plumper silhouettes slimmer and breezy. This phenomenon turned out to be a kind of “repro madness”, but who said we are supposed to obey the common rules and regulations? The brides cannot help but share their pics and experiences about the trendy dresses by Nataya and other brides, and that is not surprising the brides keep going on this madness wishing the wedding dress by Nataya.

Inga kept the promise and became the truly fabulous designer – she kept the line of lost romance and composed the truly feminine sets. We may also find la belle époque inspired style in most of the lines, which, again reminds Diaghilev’s Paris Season Repro.

A couple more words about other trends of the Brand. Nataya also brings the styles for retro inspired mothers of the brides or grooms, bridesmaids and maids of honor.

Step by step, one goes far. And now we are able to see Nataya apparels in fashion magazines, on personal pages in Google+ and on prime time Fashion TV Shows. Who knows, what the next step by the godmother of the neo-vintage will be. But, definitely it will be interesting to watch how the brand develops.

Reproduction or neo-vintage fashion was first discovered in the early 1970’s when hippies decided to give a re-birth to boho style garments. And each decade brought styles and silhouettes based on some retro elements. That means the neo-vintage and retro fashion will live happily ever after! And we, the modest followers and fans of some certain brands will have more possibilities to choose our own epochs, inspirations and trends.
